Tagging your website with Narratiive is quick and easy.
To ensure all traffic is included in your reports, the tag must be added to all content pages of your website. Each time a page is viewed the tag will send a record to Narratiive.
https pages are handled automatically and the tag can be safely included on those pages.
1. Get the tag
Head on over to our Narratiive tracking tag article to get a copy of the most current tracking tag.
2. Add the tag to your site

- Adding the Narratiive tag to your pages requires a little web development knowledge and understanding of your website configuration. If you're not comfortable with any of the steps you can share these instructions with your web developer.
The simplest way to add the tag to each page of your site is by using page templates, depending upon which is supported by your content management system.
<head> based tag placement has been supported since 1 March 2019.
The tag should be added immediately before the closing
</head> tag. It should be nested within the head tags to ensure that it will work reliably.

For optimal performance, t is recommended that the no-script tag be placed inside the HTML
3. Confirm the tag loads correctly
To confirm that a page has been tagged correctly, you should load the page in a browser and view the page source.
The tag should appear exactly as it does in our Narratiive tracking tag article.
4. Let us know which domains you've tagged
Send us a message, via the blue chat icon in the bottom right corner of the page, telling us which domains you've added the tag to. We'll make sure the tag is sending traffic records correctly and let you know if there are any issues.
